On a momentous Sunday, June 18, 2023 Hawaii Polo Life proudly participated in the grand opening of the 37th season of the Honolulu Polo Club. This day held a double significance as it coincided with the joyous occasion of Father's Day. Christopher Dawson, the visionary owner of HPL, celebrated both events alongside his son, Kawailoa, who is an emerging talent in the sport.   

Hawaii Polo Life’s journey is inextricably linked to Argentina. The history of the Hawaiian Kingdom's relationship with the South American country goes back centuries, all the way to King Kamehameha, the first monarch of the islands. In 1818, the great ruler began Argentina's first international treaty. And under his leadership, Hawaii became the first nation to recognize Argentina's independence.

It's great to see the growth of the polo community in Hawaii and the efforts being made to promote the sport on the island.
